Coral reefs are one of Earth’s most iconic and important ecosystems, sustaining 25% of marine life and the livelihoods of up to one billion people worldwide. But more than half of reefs are dead, and over 90% are on track to die by 2050. By adopting-a-coral (or better yet a whole reef!) you are directly sponsoring coral to be grown and transplanted into degraded reefs.
For every $100 donated we will send you a coral adoption certificate(s) to recognize your contribution. Or we can send it to friends and family as a unique gift! We will also share information with you about where your corals are planted and how the restoration project fares over time. Hopefully, you’ll be able to visit this reef one day and experience the impact your generosity has on preserving some of the ocean’s most inspiring wildlife!

Bring a patch reef back to life with a dozen new coral colonies! Patch reefs are beautiful pockets of life where coral heads form a structure isolated from the larger stretch of barrier reef. These patches become underwater apartment buildings with every nook and cranny of the corals creating a home for sea life. This donation will allow us to plant 12 new coral colonies on a single patch reef.
Restore your very own stretch of reef! The reef crest is the section closest the ocean surface and is often full of fish hiding amidst branching corals. It gets the most sunlight and is where the waves crash and mix up the water. This donation will allow us to bring a stretch of reef back to life, planting more than 50 coral colonies of diverse species into a ~25m ² section of reef.
